I would simply like to point out Stalking Matis' well written thread about the history of Amarrian Vengence. Psychological Warfare is an admitted strategy of these guys. I would not be quick to believe this assertion, I have no idea what the Amarr would have to gain by making allies believe that we are abandoning the system...
Nice try though :-) |

I think we are starting to descend into random accusations here. The Amarr know that they are fighting stiff Minmatar resistance and it does not reflect well on them to start claiming otherwise. We can all appreciate Amarr militia for bringing us great content, best fun I've had in EVE yet. Quote from Minmatar defence fleet last night: "Germany have scored again! Sounds like a great game...f--- it this is much better"
That being said big shout out to our friends in Gal Mil and the Pirates for joining in. Between the efforts of all parties Huola has been the most violent system for approx the last 48 hours, lets make the null bears jealous of how Faction Warfare is at its best.
I'm just saying lets save the "Minmatar batphone beat us us not Minmatar" or "Didn't want that system anyway" untill its over! : D |

I hope the Caldari Militia have shown up, it would be great to see them in action! So far everyone has given a good accounting for themselves. Even cool to see Black Legion and Pandemic Legion in combat as well. Biggest win so far is meeting new people on comms and in fleets.
Together we can make this an event to remember. To all the haters out there just think that the quality of the enemy dictates the scale of the victory. So all of the claims that the other side are poor simply cheapens the ultimate victory of your faction.
Now for the slightly partisan bit:
1) From what I understand Minmatar & co are winning the ISK war 2) Huola is now staying low in contestation so we are winning occupancy 3) More Amarr systems are going over 50 percent contested so we are gaining ground in the rest if the WZ 4) Minmatar can replenish their wallets faster due to the higher Tier in war zone (Or Amarr piolts have to spend time in Minmatar alts...but you would t do that would you?) 5) Minmatar and co's morale is high, whilst I don't know about Amarr they do seem a bit defensive in this thread.
Anyway keep it classy and keep up the good fights! |

In real life yesterday:
Me: "So in summary I have been having a great time in EVE recently"
Friend: "Sounds cool! I have another friend who also plays, I will put you in touch with him he's really hardcore and would be happy to give you stuff to get ahead."
Me: "Small world! Who does he fly with?
Friend: "I can't remember but he is really into it with the guys he plays with. He has got the Amarr symbol tattooed on his leg!"
Me: "Ahhh...I'm not sure we will get along!"
Small world indeed! |

We like to give Winmatar attention because they are AWOXers and arrogant to boot. The Amarr are our enemies but there is the appreciation that they are a necessary evil (without them it would not be FW after all). Winmatar were one of us, and when the pendulum began to swing instead of fighting or accepting that the farmer hordes are a force of nature they declared themselves the only true militia and turned on their brothers and sisters. They will wear the stains of thier dishonour for as long as they exist...at least the Amarr are 'honest' enemies.
Keep an eye on them Amarr, fair weather friends and all that.

Minie hope rests on the russian player base now - taking some time for some long need farming gives us ample time for making easy push.
AVNG psycho war is working as intended.
Does letting the contested rate go up mean we get fights in the EU time zone again? |

Keep the fights coming - sounds like a fun night yesterday!
It's not over yet folks...please bring out that hardware in the EU Timezone, make sure it's insured though. Kudos to our US TZ guys and girls for fighting the good fight! It's the war that matters not the individual battles.
Also kudos to the Calamari more good content to keep us logging in. |

I don't know which line of propaganda would be more amusing to take if Huola coalition wins this one:
Option 1) Amarr & co failed even with the Fweddit blob US Timezone plus days of Bballing
2) That we follow the Amarr propaganda and claim that we just kept mission running/chilling out and a handful of Gallente pilots held off the whole Amarr militia plus allies in all time zones.
3) Taking a leaf out of Amarr propaganda and claim Burn Hola was fought by Amarr on the forums and Caldari Militia in space
I'm sure I can think of a few more.
Anyhow it was nice to see the Amarr militia, Caldari militia and ex Amarr pirates out last night. Shame the high sec mercs didnt drop in though, money well spent? Got to meet Preditor Elite as well who seems to be Amarr all (really just hand us diplomatic gold why don't you? Any other hate figures you want to batphone?) Keep on coming - Huola coalition is like baby shampoo, tear free :)
Thanks again to our coalition partners. Sterling work as ever! |

It's probably over really, Amarrs greatest advantages were surprise and numbers.
Numbers are now neutralised, our allies have billions in assets they are leaving in the area plus jump clones. At best Anarr will get a 24 hour head start before Gallente/Pirate forces fill out any Minmatar gaps. Unless Amarr pull out a big batphone.
Surprise was the most important - they had the time to prepare doctrines, asset reserves, ISK fundraising, comm sharing, rallying all major corps and ensuring maximum membership would be available for the push. Minmatar Militia (well the Huola residents mainly) by and large woke up one lazy day in the summer and like me went on this forum saw this threads title and thought 'sh-t!'. After that first week it was only going to get harder, every day more of our pilots re-sub, come back from holiday, log in to update skills etc and realise what's going on etc and bring pain to the Amarr. Every battle increases the big red blob over the system and attracts more third parties, these third parties present more of an obstacle to Amarr than the Huola coalition. Every time Amarr plexus it's heart out to make headway on contestation and we slam it down to zero they lose more line members.
Huola coalition hopes the fun continues, but our suspicion is that Amarrian Vengence will keep this thread alive and plex the system down a year or two from now and then say "We got there in the end, Amarr Victor". Winmatar we know you will keep fighting, but then you have a history of thinking you are tougher than you are. Several Amarr pilots are already ahead of the curve and left the campaign.
That being said, GF Amarr and co, Faction Warfare at its best. There is no dishonour on admitting the plan has not worked but we will be back. Either that or total Amarr burnout and Tier 4 for the Minmatar for a long time to come. |

The only reason Amarr would be bragging about capturing an uncontested system in this thread is if it had some importance to this campaign. As they could already reship within system it must have another purpose.
I would say its for morale really, Amarr line pilots stuck inside a POS being miserable must have been more draining than I thought. Now they have a station even further away from Huola they can base out of which hosts a natural bottleneck into Huola that you have to run through in order to fight us. This is a victory?
Amarr propaganda simply highlighting their weakness - the Minmatar Militia are not the intended audience for the chest beating.
Bring on week three, traveling further for reships won't help you. |

So, how can we prove Burn Huola us over? I have not seen the system move above 25 percent for days, the system is not even in the top ten most violent systems. Do we have to wait for every Amarr corp CEO who signed the thread to come back and say "GF we surrender?" Feeling jealous that the attackers have definite victory conditions! |

I would like to announce the beginning of our furious assault on Egglehende, you will be utterly destroyed and that Amarr Militia home system will be flipped for Minmatar everywhere. We will await the time that CCP choose to include the system in FW which may be 3 years from now. But when that happens we will beat our chests and proclaim to the galaxy our elite faction warfare skills at home system sieges, beause we will have dedicately seiged it until that time comes. FEEL THE PAIN! If you can't see us there don't worry we are seiging you - just everywhere but there for strategic reasons of vital import.
The only place the seige of Huola is continuing is on this thread - please change the name of the campaign to 'lightly scald Huola'. |

If genuine then GF, best time I've had in EVE yet. I hope your comrades return one day. It is always a shame to lose members of the community. Even if they are Amarr Militia.

One idea connected to the thread.
This is the first major FW system seige since the patches that have hurt farmers. It would be very interesting if some clever people did the statistics on the conflict, if this campaign has been as epic as we suspect we could petition CCP to put a monument in Huola. All FW militias were represented, all militias had achievements to be proud of (inclufing pirate low sec forces, militia allied or third party) Faction Warfare would not hurt to have a publicity boost, if the numbers are impressive this could be FW's version of BR..
Any thoughts? The Huola campaign would serve as a nice contrast to stalemated coalition Null Sec... |
